Dec. 3rd, 2015 12:10 amImportant: Balder's canon actions include attempted suicide, attempted sexual assault, and controlling/jealous behavior. He is also a fictionalized version of a Norse god. If any of these issues make you uncomfortable playing with him, feel free to opt out either on this page OR on his HMD. (Both should be screened.)
If you would like to play with Balder but avoid mention of any of these specific issues, feel free to leave me a note about that as well!
Other power notes:
1) Balder inherently charms those around him simply by his nature as a god of light. This effect increases the longer he spends around someone, and can result in behavior like clamoring for his attention or following him around. Since in game his powers will fluctuate by how much sex he is having, this should be avoidable if desired, but his posts will mention the possibility and anyone wanting to play with this would be greatly appreciated!
2) Balder's mother made pacts with almost all of creation to protect him from harm, meaning that nothing but himself or mistletoe is able to harm him under normal conditions. This too will fluctuate over time in game, but be aware of it before picking a fight, since I will likely play it pretty straight based on how many sex threads I have going. (For a specific plot involving being able to/not being able to hurt him, please let me know in advance!)
3) Balder exists as a god of destruction as well as a god of light, and in canon he's expected to basically destroy the whole universe. When he moves into "god of destruction" mode, it usually relates to emotional imbalance, and he can both turn into a total asshole AND do things like turn everything around him to golden dust or shoot destructive light everywhere. Plots involving this side of him will always involve planning in advance!
4) If there's anything you're concerned about regarding CR with Balder, feel free to let me know!
5) Kinks: As far as kinks go, I haven't made a specific list for Balder, but I tend to be more open to severe injury/death during sex with him, when he is capable of being hurt. My absolute "no" list is still pretty much: OOC victim blaming, scat, gangbangs, and corrective rape. For anything else, ask!
